I did this while my daughter painted her “Tigerlily.” I started employing some of the techniques I have been using in my art classes I am taking.
I don’t think I got the lighting right or the shading. I like how the vases look but it has obvious flaws.
My blending could also be improved.
Despite the imperfections, I like it. I like how it looks and I think it is another step in growing as an artist and painter.

I like it. I think it adds a textural twist, as if it could almost be lifted from the page. Plus, those colors are great.
