The vineyards are in full bloom
Grapes sweet and ripe
Fill every branch
Clusters of fruit nourishing our souls
As the harvest continues
Little foxes skulk around
Lurking in the vineyard
Growing fat with indulgence
Drive them out
Mend the walls
Fix the barriers
Protect this vineyard from ruin
Banish the little foxes
Less the vineyard be torn asunder
Let the fruitfulness flourish
Let the wine of our love freely flow

Song of Solomon 2:15 (ESV)
“Catch the foxes for us,
the little foxes
that spoil the vineyards,
for our vineyards are in blossom.”
How lovely! I appreciate this so much living in wine country (Charlottesville, Virginia). All are waiting to see just how this year’s wines/grapes will turn out after our very rainy season. Song of Solomon could be a wine name, yes?

Yes, I know, was thinking of the blend of poetry and wine.
