
See! I can draw!
Here’s my first attempt at drawing in my new drawing course through Christine Allison’s book, “Drawing.”
There will be many iterations of this leaf in different graphite pencil types, colored pencils, ballpoint pen, etc.
This was done in my sketchbook using a graphite HB (stands for “hard and black”) pencil. This first exercise illustrates how varying pencil scale types affect shading when drawing.
