Your strength never fails
You are my stronghold
In you, O Lord, I am safe
When the battle rises against me
You defend me
You protect me
Your heavenly armies fight for me
When the enemy seeks to destroy me
Your mighty right hand upholds me
You are my shield

You are always right by my side

Jason, you have written a wonderfully inspiring poem filled with such rich images. I have been working on a poem based upon Ephesians 6:10-17 and Martin Luther’s hymn “A Mighty Fortress is Our God.”.
