Holed up inside
As it started to snow
We had nowhere to go
Isolated from the world outside
There was no need for TV
Our phones stored away
We had hours to play
Dancing to Christmas music
Not even Thanksgiving
Built worlds made of legos
We read about Robin Hood
And a very busy spider
Baked chocolate chip cookies
Made time for a spot of tea
With the fancy china
Everyone picked new names
Dreaming we were in Beijing
At the end of the day
Still in pajamas
How convenient to slide back in bed
Where imaginations and dreams
Would be re-fed
Imagine what you could do
Focusing on fun
Clearing the calendar
Planning just to be
Present in this moment
Without any other care
