Long walk on the endless shore
Peering at my feet
Spying seashells
A myriad of color and design
Some miniscule finds
Others the size of my palm
Uncovering the sea’s treasures
Tokens of beauty and intrigue
Wondering where each originated
And where they’ve journeyed
Telling a tale of life under the sea

  1. The ocean is a massive force and sometimes when I sit and watch it from the shore I feel like one of its primary abilities is providing us with its beauty. The shells, grains of sand, tiny beach life, beautiful rock formations, shorelines with unbelievable beauty, etc.
    but then I am reminded that we are not what everything is about and then it all even becomes more beautiful as I become one member of the tiny beach life.
