The twin towers
Now two holes in the earth remain
Marking that fateful day
Never forget
Surreal images of airplanes
Exploding into office buildings
Waves of dust swallowing up
The alleys and anything in them
The desperate leaping
To their demise

Why?
Was it worth?
Is it ever worth it?

Today marks another day of remembrance of the horrific acts of terrorism on the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City.

Praying today for the victims of this senseless attack and especially for our first responders who run towards the peril to help those in need and risk their lives everyday for their fellow Americans.
