Summer is ending
The heat recedes
School buses roaming
And school bells ring
Local pools close their doors
Camps and cabins fall silent
Cool breezes stir the leaves
Longer days shrink
Green and vibrant
Fade to yellow
Brilliant red and orange
Harvest ripe for picking
Vacations end
Play to work
New challenges
Welcomed by a new season
