the mountain in the distance
is calling to me
come up on the heights
touch the sky
see the view in the clouds
it has a name for you
there is a place set aside
“come and see”

  1. Love those last three lines especially. Makes me think of a stone with my name on it and a burning bush. Your poem as a whole is a wonderful invitation (“come and see”) into something deeper.
