I love this line from Courtney Peppernell’s collection of poems, “Pillow Thoughts.”

It is an attitude of “Carpe Diem,” or “Seize the Day,” for anyone who is too young to remember Dead Poets Society. It is an act of letting go what is beyond your control and making a most of the few moments you have here on Earth. Don’t have a life full of regrets and missed opportunities, instead live a life full of attempts, live a life full of new experiences, and never let fear keep you from trying again.

With all of the stuff I am going through and have been through, I am sometimes tempted to second-guess myself.

Was it worth it?

Even though this life can hurt like hell, it is indeed worth it every time.
