So true – and then we can go back and re-read what we wrote before, perhaps long ago, and see how our perception of things has perhaps changed – a lot. If it was never written down our malleable memory will never see the past as it actually was but as w wasn’t to remember it instead. .

I know… our sight is so limited especially in the moment… and as time passes our reflections are even more distorted.
