why does waiting feel lazy?
stuck in limbo waiting for something to happen
forcing an outcome feels wrong
making something from nothing feels like taking two steps backward
the internal tension is unsettling
a fear of the unknown and a fear of being alone
wherever I am feels like a dense forest
there’s no path and I don’t know how I got here
all around me are thick tree trunks blocking my way
looking up I see the blue sky and the bright sun
that view above provides my only hope
but you are saying to wait
Fine
but this claustrophobic forest is closing in
