I feel so awkward
I am not comfortable talking to anyone
Hearing my words escape my lips
I lose my nerve
I’ve lost confidence in that part of me
When I go looking for it
It feels like walking into a pitch black room that goes on forever

Short and sharp – I love it! Very modern in its approach to form, which has its merits even if I personally prefer writing or reading poems with more emphasis on their technical aspects.
